Get Your Licks on Rt. 66 Returns to Amarillo with a Fun Pet Adoption Event

It's fun to get your kicks on Route 66!  It's even more fun to get the animals involved so they can get their licks on Route 66. FIDO Friendly magazine is once again teaming up with the Amarillo SPCA for this great pet adoption event.

FIDO Friendly Magazine returns to Amarillo and our Route 66 with their pet adoption tour.  They started their tour in California and will stop in 15 cities along Route 66.  They are promoting pet adoptions through local shelters.  This tour has helped over 3,000 pets find their forever homes.

Those attending this awesome event will have a chance to win prizes.  Proceeds from the event will go to help our local Amarillo SPCA and the Texas Panhandle Pet Savers.

About the Amarillo SPCA:

The SPCA is a non- profit organization and has been in Amarillo for over 25 years.   We currently care for almost 100 dogs and puppies and 40 cats and kittens.  It is our desire to find perfect homes for each of our shelter animals and they will remain with us until that happens, as we are a no-kill shelter.
