Grab Some Friends and Get Ready to Celebrate the Panhandle Down Syndrome Guild at the Buddy Walk

The Buddy Walk to support the Panhandle Down Syndrome Guild is celebrating it's 15th year, and they want you to come and celebrate with them.  Grab your friends and family and get ready to have some fun.

What: The Buddy Walk

Where: Sam Houston Park, Corner of Line Ave and Western

When:  Saturday, October 1st, registration 9am, walk begins at 10 am and the family fun until 1pm

The Buddy Walk is a half mile walk and anyone can take part. This year the Buddy Walk has a superhero theme.

Then after the walk stick around and celebrate and have some fun. The park will be filled with bouncers, games, live music, food, a petting zoo, face-painting, a high flying extreme jumping machine and more.

The Buddy Walk is also celebrating the kick off of National Down Syndrome Awareness Month.
