Gwen Stefani thinks bullying is bananas ("b-a-n-a-n-a-s!") — and that's why she made one special fan's time at her July 27 concert in West Palm Beach, Florida even more special by inviting him onstage.

The pop star was performing on her This Is What The Truth Feels Like Tour on Wednesday when she paused to look at a message on one concert-goer's poster. Reading it aloud onstage, Stefani was heartbroken by what was written on it.

"'My son was bullied from first to fifth grade," she read, exclaiming angrily, "What!?"

"He would come home every day upset, but he'd go to his room, listen to your music every day and smile," the singer continued before finally demanding that the young boy "get up here right now — right now!"

After being lifted onto the stage, the visibly emotional fan and the No Doubt front-woman embraced in a tight hug, the "Misery" singer lifting his arms above his head in a triumphant gesture of solidarity and compassion.

Later, Stefani shared a message about the heartwarming interaction on Instagram, revealing that the boy was "the answer to [her] prayers."

"About 3 years ago when things were hard in my life I prayed to God everyday that I could get a chance to use my gift that God gave me and make a difference in some way in this world," she wrote. "Last night this little guy was the answer to my prayers."

After the show, the artist invited the young boy and his mother backstage to take a group selfie with her and her own two sons, Zuma and Kingston. See below:
