Harry Styles Makes Sick Fan’s Dream Come True

We already knew that Harry Styles is a sweetheart, but what he did for an ill fan this weekend is still above and beyond what we expected!

The 20-year-old Brit is currently on the East Coast for One Direction’s Where We Are Tour, and on his day off in between shows he stopped in the N.J. town of a young fan, Campbell Hoyt, to pay her a little visit.

Cam has been battling brain and spine cancer since she was just three years old, according to the Alternative Press. She’s now eight and on hospice care, and she had one wish — to meet her idols, One Direction.

All last week fans were trending various hash tags to get the attention of her favorite member, Harry. The boy bander took notice of Cam’s plight and tweeted a sweet message to her.

Though Directioners thought his kindness would end there, Harry took it a step further by popping by her house on Sunday, Aug. 3. We can’t even imagine how happy that made her! Click here to see a photo of Harry sitting beside Cam.

Her mom spoke to the Alternative Press about the surprise visit: “He was emphatic that he did not do this for publicity. He truly just wanted to meet Cam. I would not want anyone to get the wrong idea.”

It seems like the visit meant the world to Cam. Way to go, Harry!
