Last week, we published our editorial about how One Direction could very well be the next Beatles. We know it's a bold claim, but we had specific reasons for making it. Well, 1D's Harry Styles compared his band to The Fab Four as well, but not how you'd think.

Hazza said that 1D's level of fame surpasses that of The Beatles, which is true. Both experienced insane mania, but given the social media age in which we live, 1D have it worse, to speak.

But Hazza was also quick to note that the comparison was not one of musical merit.

The singer said that seeing film footage of The Beatles arrival at JFK in 1964 "really was like us. Stepping off the plane, the girls, the madness, it was exactly the same as when we got there – just 50 years earlier."

Despite similar levels of mania and frenzy surrounding them, Hazza said, "But none of us think we’re in the same league as them music-wise. We’d be total fools if we did. Fame-wise, it’s probably even bigger, but we don’t stand anywhere near them in terms of music."

He's so humble. But 1D are at the beginning of their career and they can set off on a course to become The Fab Four's heir apparent. You never, ever know.
