‘House of Cards’ Season 4 Digs Deep for First Footage Teaser
House of Cards isn’t the type of series to keep every last bit of detail under wraps until its premiere, but Season 4 footage has been hard to come by, promotion instead focused on ominous campaign ads of the Underwood trail. At long last, however, we finally have our first real footage in a new teaser, and none less ominous.
Ol’ Doug’s got his shovel out out again, but we’d be more worried about who isn’t a part of the scene, as he and President Underwood dig a hole for the press at some kind of photo op. No doubt Doug will be standing in for the M.I.A First Lady, last seen taking a private plane far, far away from Frank.
In addition to House of Cards’ Season 4 premiere date on March 4, we know that Thor baddie Colm Feore will appear as “a high-profile new character,” which may or may not be one half of a high-profile British couple to rival Francis and Claire. Also on board for the next year of Frank Underwood’s placeholder presidency is Neve Campbell in an equally mysterious role.
Few House of Cards Season 4 details have leaked thus far, though in addition to series leads Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright, we might expect the returns of 2015 additions Paul Sparks, Fear The Walking Dead star Kim Dickens and Sherlock baddie Lars Mikkelsen.
While we wait, check out the House of Cards teasers below, and stay tuned for more on the premiere.
