Are you one of those lucky ones who can sleep way over 8 hours? I mean seriously do those people even exist?

I'm talking about being able to sleep like 9 or 10 hours a night. That is living the dream isn't it?

Well not really. It seems a lot of us have trouble sleeping and may only get 4 or 5 hours of serious, deep sleep. Does that sound more like you?

Well according to a new study getting A LOT of sleep is not any better for you. So Yay for that!

Researchers found that people, like us, who only get 4 or 5 hours of sleep would perform on tests like their brains were actually 9 years older. Oh and that is not a good thing.

Here is the good news, though, they saw the same results from people who got incredible amounts of sleep.

Apparently the biggest abilities you lose when you get too little or too much sleep is your reasoning and verbal skills.

So shoot for that lucrative 7 or 8 hours of sleep and give your brain a break!
