For as much as 'How I Met Your Mother' gives away the biggest spoilers about its ninth and final season in the title alone, we're not certain what to make of the gang's ninth year, which supposedly takes place entirely over a wedding weekend. It can't prove as simple as walking down the aisle and meeting a lovely lady, so who suffers the biggest setback in 'How I Met Your Mother's ninth season premiere?

According to TVLine, the temporarily-titled premiere "The Locket" will see Marshall initially unable to attend Barney's wedding at all, getting thrown off the plane from Minnesota by his interactions with a female passenger! Said to be an African-American or Latina female in her 30s or 40s, "Camille" quickly tires of Marshall's "erratic" behavior, and the ensuing confrontation gets both kicked off of the plane, leaving Marshall in need of another route to the Farhampton wedding.

So far CBS and executive producers Carter Bays and Craig Thomas have played ‘HIMYM’s’ final year close to the chest, though we know that season 9 will take place largely across the 56-hour period leading up to Barney and Robin’s wedding, at which Ted finally meets his bride-to-be. The network also revealed that all four regulars would meet the mother (herself a newly-minted regular) prior to Ted, while individual episodes may cut back and forth through time as necessary to tell the complete story.

We'll have more details of 'How I Met Your Mother's ninth and final season from Comic-Con 2013, but in the meantime what say you? Will 'HIMYM' manage to spread 56 hours across 24 episodes with issues like Marshall's travel troubles? What do you want to see from the final season?
