It’s National Hamburger Month – Lori’s Top 5 Burgers Joints in Amarillo

I love their burgers, however you will be in for a wait. It is a small place, but in the end your wait to get in will be soooooo worth it. It is one of those "Hole in the Wall" places. My favorite burger is the California Burger because it has everything a burger is suppsed to have, guacamole, sour cream, green chilies, cheese...YUM! I want one! What can I say about the Golden Light Cafe, they have really great burgers. If you haven't ever taken the time to hop on historic Rt. 66 and partake of a Golden Light Cafe Burger...you are missing out!

Buns Over Texas is one of my favorite places for a burger. Plus, it is right across the street from the office. I love how they cook the patty and I love how you can build your own burger. They have a great selection of ice tea and I am a tea fan. They also have the best cheese fries in town. But this month is all about burgers and they have one tasty burger.

Nothing like a Blue Sky Burger on a weeknight! These burgers are made to order and delicious. Slap on some cheese and green chilies and you have an awesome burger! Oh and don't forget to try the Chilie Sticks with some ranch dressing on the side!

OK so I have never had an Arnold's Burger. I know, I know, from what I hear they are to die for. But, alas, I would not know. I decided to add them to the list because everyone I have talked to raves about this place. Plus, they can make a ginormous burger if you choose to order one.
