It’s Reptilemania at the Amarillo Zoo

If you love those creepy, crawly, slithery things, then you are going to love Reptilemania coming to the Amarillo Zoo.

Your little ones can enjoy getting to know snakes, lizards, tortoises and toads!  They can enjoy hands on with reptiles and amphibians from all over the world.

Don't be fooled that all reptiles are creepy.  They are actually very interesting creatures.

The kids will have all their questions answered.  Here are just a few of the things the kids will get to experience.

• “I Touched a Snake Club
• Enjoy a a Lizard lunch of crispy fried crickets, grilled mealworms or poached waxworms – yum yum!
• Learn about venomous snakes and poisonous toads
• See the skeleton of the world’s largest species of frog – the massive Goliath frog
• See the world’s largest species of toad – the plate-sized Marine toad
• Make snake crafts
• Watch them feed the snakes and more.

COST: Admission to the zoo $4 adults (ages 13-61) $3 seniors (ages 62 and up) and $2 children (ages 3-12) and free for children 2 and under and Amarillo Zoo Society members.
