Join in and Pledge to Erase the ‘R’ Word

Over the years words we once used are not tolerable or even acceptable.  A word that was once used to describe a condition has been turned in to a negative thing, a degrading thing, a hateful thing.  That's way you are encouraged to take the pledge to help erase a word.

Join the Advo Company this Saturday August 14th along with local businesses, friends, family and all supporters and help "Erase the R Word!"

Let's come together and take a stand, the Amarillo community can make a huge impact.

Advo is joining the Turn Center of Amarillo as well as the Panhandle Down Syndrome guild and are asking you to come out and sign a pledge saying you won't use the "R" word.  After signing the pledge you'll have a chance to take home a goodie.

So mark your calendar to "Erase the R Word!"  Stop by the Advo Companies , 5241 S. Washington,  to sign your pledge from 10am -7pm.
