The list of July 2016 new music releases is capped by a pair of classic rock legends making long-awaited returns to the studio, some intriguing new reissues and another shipment of cool box sets.

Beautiful Broken, Heart's first album of original material since 2012, finds Nancy and Ann Wilson blending three new songs with fresh updates on seven older songs – including a cut from Fanatic, their most recent studio effort, that now features Metallica's James Hetfield. Meanwhile, Jeff Beck's Loud Hailer is his first new studio album in six years.

Fleetwood Mac's last No. 1 studio album, 1982's Mirage, will be released as a three-disc expanded deluxe edition; the Ramones' landmark 1976 debut is getting a similar update. Peter Gabriel is set to release half-speed vinyl remasters for his So, Us and Up projects. And nine Allman Brothers Band albums will also be remastered and released on vinyl in a new 15-LP set.

Steven Tyler will officially go country with the arrival of his long-awaited debut album, We're All Somebody From Somewhere. Twisted Sister will return to a concert at the Joint in the Hard Rock in Las Vegas, to be released as a live CD-DVD/Blu-ray called Metal Meltdown. Frank Zappa will also be featured on a pair of new archival releases, Frank Zappa for President and The Crux of the Biscuit.
