Karl Slover, One Of The Last Remaining Munchkins from The Wizard of Oz Died

Karl Slover,  one of the last remaining munchkins in The Wizard of Oz, passed away on Tuesday at the age of 93. 

Karl was born on September 21, 1918 in Slovakia. According to Wikipedia Karl was put him into a traveling show at the age of 9.

IMDB has Karl listed in an uncredited role in The Wizard of Oz. However he played a trumpeter in the band, a townsman, and a soldier in the movie.  In my personal opinion the munchkins made the movie.  He also played the barber in a movie called the The Terror of a Tiny Town.

This movie has spanned generations, my mom loved it, I love the movie and Ethan loves the movie.  Hearing about the death of a beloved munchkin from the Wizard of Oz breaks my heart.
