After Michael Jackson‘s mother, Katherine, was reported missing Saturday night (July 21), authorities in Los Angeles believe that she is safe and with family members in Arizona.

According to MSNBC, the chaos began Saturday when Katherine’s nephew, Trent Jackson, filed a missing persons report after family members were unable to locate Katherine all week. The 82-year-old matriarch is the guardian of her late son’s three children, Paris, Prince Michael and Blanket Jackson.

“Yes, my grandmother is missing,” Paris Jackson, 14, wrote Sunday morning. “I haven’t spoken with her in a week I want her home now.”

The Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department are still trying to contact Katherine, but they believe she is with her daughter Rebbie Jackson. On Friday (July 20), Jermaine tweeted that Katherine was fine and was resting in Arizona under doctor’s orders.

Saturday’s missing-persons alert comes after five of Michael Jackson’s disinherited siblings claim that the late King of Pop’s will was faked by John Branca and John McClain, the executors of his estate. The family is asking the men to resign from their posts immediately. “At the time we couldn’t possibly fathom what is so obvious to us now: that the Will, without question, it’s Fake, Flawed and Fraudulent,” they wrote in a five-page letter.

The estate has denied the siblings’ accusations.

In the meantime, there is no word on who is actually taking care of the children while Katherine is away. Her attorney, Perry Sanders, Jr., is still trying to find answers in all of this confusion.

“First of all, let’s hope that this is all just a big misunderstanding and a totally benign situation,” he told MSNBC on Friday. “Assuming that she did actually leave on doctor’s orders, no matter which doctor, it has certainly created an absolutely irregular situation whereby she has been out of contact with her grandchildren.”

Hopefully, Katherine Jackson is okay and is return safely so she can take care of MJ’s children.
