Kids, Inc. Hosting the Blue Cross Blue Sheild Texas Food Bowl Benefitting the High Plains Food Bank

When you are a kid involved in a activity that allows you to play in a larger environment than what you are used to, it is truly a magical experience.

I remember back in the day (when I was in high school forever ago) we had the opportunity to march in Jones Stadium, yes home of the Texas Tech Red Raiders.  At the time the stadium was not as big as it was now but it was huge to us.  It was a once in a life time experience so I can only imagine what the Kids Inc. kids will be feeling when they get to play in Kimbrough Memorial Stadium.

All 11 Kids, Inc. 6th grade tackle football teams gear up and get to play some football like the big boys!

The event is a fundraiser for the High Plains Food Bank.

WHAT: The 10th annual Food Bowl

WHEN: Saturday, October 27, 2012 from 8:00am to 10:30pm

WHERE: Kimbrough Memorial Stadium

COST: $1 or 1 can of food

Come see these competitors play their hearts out while helping a great cause.
