Childhood bullies sometimes need a taste of their own medicine to change their ways. But should a teacher be the one dosing it out?

Ann Neely, the mother of a kindergarten boy who was allegedly bullying other kids in his class at Ricardo Salinas Elementary in San Antonio, Texas, says her son’s teacher lined up his 24 classmates and told them to hit him.

She didn’t find out about the incident until the principal recently told her about it, and Neely is livid, saying, “[My son] a kindergartener. And they never had any problems with his behavior. Ever.”

The school district has made it clear the teacher who supposedly orchestrated the unorthodox punishment won’t be back in the fall, but Neely is considering filing criminal charges against her to ensure she’s never allowed to teach again.
