Lady Buffs Open World Series Against Grand Valley State

The #1 West Texas A&M Lady Buffs are off to the Division II College World Series in Denver tomorrow.Lady Buffs won the South Regional and will take on Grand Valley State.  Grand Valley State won the Midwest Regional. The game is tomorrow at 1pm.

Grand Valley State is 43-11 after winning the Midwest Regional over #10 Wayne St.

The Lady Buffaloes are coming off their second straight Lone Star Conference tournament championship and are a unanimous #1 in the latest Division II Poll.

The Lady Buffs were the fastest team to reach 50 wins this season and had a 30-game win streak.  The 30-game win streak was the first in Lone Star Conference history and the longest ever in the South region.

Kilee Halbert and Lacey Taylor were voted All-Americans by the National Fast Pitch Coaches Association. Taylor was a 1st team selection while Halbert was a 3rd team selection.
