The 7 Star Therapeutic Riding Center is a facility that provides equine assisted therapy.   They help many clients with different types of disabilities.

They serve clients with autism, down syndrome, ADD/ADHD, traumatic brain injuries, PTSD and more.

They help provide healing to their clients by using horses.

They describe their Equine therapy as:

an alternative form of therapy that cannot be obtained through conventional therapy.  The gait of the horse mimics that of a human. Through the motion of the horse, clients develop core muscle strength, and stimulation of brain patterns, which improves balance and coordination. Clients learn to concentrate and focus on riding, which helps with sequencing, and learning to follow oral instructions.

The 7 Star Therapeutic Riding Center is a non-profit organization.  A lot of the families that benefit from the equine therapy are unable to afford the therapy.  Equine therapy can cost up to $500 a month.  That's why they depend on the generous donations from the public and fundraisers to help provide therapy services for these families who desperately need the therapy.
