No one won Saturday's Powerball jackpot. Tomorrow night's drawing is expected to be worth $422 million. The odds of winning the jackpot are 292 million to 1.  A new survey by Gallup reveals that 49% of people have bought a lottery ticket in the past 12 months. Other findings:

  • 40% of people who earn less than $36,000 per year have played the lottery in the past year compared to 56% of those making between $36,000 and $90,000 per year
  • 53% of people making $90,000 or more per year have played the lottery in the past year
  • 47% of people with a high school diploma play the lottery
  • 53% of people with a college degree play the lottery
  • 64% of people have gambled in the last 12 months
  • 10% of people bet on pro sports

For the Powerball, according to LottoNumbers.com, the most popular white ball numbers are 26, 22, 16, 41, 42, 35, and 39.

LottoNumbers.com posted that the most picked red Powerball is 6. It is followed by 20, 29, 18, 9, 2, 1, 11, and 37.

The most "overdue" numbers are:  1, 48, 20, 45, 37, 58 and 56.
