Though 'Mad Max: Fury Road' may star Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron, if this film is anything like the previous entries it's possible they could be upstaged by the cars and stunts in the film. And as we wait to see the movie (which is scheduled to come out sometime in 2014), now you can see some of the vehicles from the film.

Though this footage isn't much, it does give a good look at the designs for some of the vehicles. And it does show that this movie is actually happening. Though there was talk of a fourth 'Mad Max' film post-'Beyond Thunderdome,' director George Miller has been talking about this film for over a decade now, with Mel Gibson on and off the project, and after a number of false starts. We're just happy it's finally happening.

Here's a synopsis courtesy of Collider:

“Mad Max: Fury Road”–the fourth in the franchise’s history–stars Tom Hardy (“The Dark Knight Rises”) in the title role of Max Rockatansky, alongside Oscar(R) winner Charlize Theron (“Monster”, “Prometheus”) as Imperator Furiosa.

According to Miller, “Mad Max is caught up with a group of people fleeing across the Wasteland in a War Rig driven by the Imperator Furiosa. This movie is an account of the Road War which follows. It is based on the Word Burgers of the History Men and eyewitness accounts of those who survived.”
