When I first read that Anne Frank was too pornographic, I laughed.  Seriously, Anne Frank pornographic?  Then I watched the video.  A teacher in Michigan has assigned her students to read a book about Anne Frank.  This book isn't The Diary of Anne Frank, most of us read in school.  The book is The Diary of a Young Girl: Anne Frank (The Definitive Edition).  It is the unedited version. The unedited version contains very descriptive content.

I have only read the edited version. I didn't realize that there was a version of the book with more descriptive content.

Would you want your child reading the unedited version of this book? Would you want them reading a young girl describing her female parts?

What are your thoughts? Should this school have only assigned the edited version of the book?
