Most Popular Dog Names For 2018

Our fur babies need names. Traditional dog names like Spot, or Rover are long gone. Athletes, fictional characters, and little used people names, are finding their way to a dog collar near you.

Our Sheltie, Romo, went to the Rainbow Bridge earlier this year, and I'm wanting a puppy for 2019. But, what to name him or her?

For male dogs the most popular name this year was "Max." The rest of the top names of the year were Charlie...Cooper...Buddy...Jack...Rocky..Duke...Bear...Tucker and Oliver.

For female dogs, the top name for 2018 is Bella. The rest of the top ten are Lucy...Luna...Daisy...Lola...Sadie...Molly...Bailey...Maggie...and Stella.
