If going to work means you run the risk of developing an ulcer or biting your nails until there’s only cuticle left, congrats — you may have one of the most stressful jobs in America.

But is it the most stressful?

CareerCast has come out with its list of the most stressful jobs for 2013, a list that is timely for our times, since 73% of people say at least one thing at work stresses them, according to a new survey.

The website created its rankings by looking at 11 factors. Among them: physical danger, having your life at risk, having responsibility for other people’s lives or livelihoods at risk and how much you work in the public eye or have someone breathing down your neck.

Enlisted military personnel has the dubious honor of taking the top spot, with military general coming in second, proving that maybe the armed forces isn’t the way to go.
