    Bram Stoker's Dracula

Based on the book Dracula by Bram Stoker, director Frances Ford Coppola takes Dracula to new heights. Not only that Gary Oldham plays the perfect creature of the night seducing Wynona Ryder all the while budding up to her love, played by Keanu Reeves. This movie is a work of art.

    The Twilight Saga

This made my list because I loved the books. The first movie was a bit cheesy because it didn't have a huge budget like the sequels did.  Stephenie Meyers put a whole new spin on Vampires.  Vampires that could be out in daylight but would sparkle when the sunlight hit them.  These vampires don't have fangs, and These vampires can produce children with the living.

    Underworld

Unlike Twilight where I have loved the entire movie franchise, I only love the first Underworld. In Underworld, their is a war waging between the Vampires and the Lycans (werewolves). Celene, played by Kate Beckensale, kicks booty in this movie after she finds out their leader has plotted with the leader of the Lycans. After Celene raises and elder to stop what is going on, chaos ensues. Thrown in a human who is the key to stopping the war who finds himself bitten by a lycan. Celene's new love is now her enemy.

    The Lost Boys

Here is where my love for the vampire genre begins. I fell in love with Keifer Sutherland when he played the role of big bad vampire David in this movie. This movie takes place in Santa Carla, California , a city wrought with vampires. Sam and Michael find themselves in the middle of all the chaos with Micheal being tricked into becoming a vampire. This is a must see vampire movie!

    Interview with the Vampire

This movie was based on Anne Rice's first installment of her Vampire Chronicles. Interview With the Vampire is my favorite Vampire movie of all time. I have read all of the books and the casting of this movie was top notch. Brad Pitt plays Louis de Pointe du Lac with such anguish and despair, you feel everything he is feeling. Tom Cruise, plays the evil, hateful Lestat de Lioncourt. Kirsten Dunst plays Claudia with such grace, a child actress who is able to play a child who is an adult. This is the role that made her famous. It was on this movie where she had her first kiss and it was the scene where she kisses Louis on the balcony. Christian Slater also stars, he was cast as the reporter Daniel Malloy who is interviewing Louis. River Phoniex, was originally going to play the role but he overdosed before the movie began filming.
