‘NCIS’ is Losing a Major Character

One of my favorite shows to watch is NCIS.  Apparently I'm not alone because the show is #1 every week in the ratings.  However, I found out this morning that one of the major characters is leaving the show.  Who is it...

I have been watching this show for years.  I started watching it in Season 2 I believe but in the years I have been watching it, I did go back and watch Season 1.  NCIS will be kicking off it's 11th Season this fall, but one of the main characters will be exiting.

Now, I don't know if they will kill the character off the show, but Cote De Pablo, who plays Agent Ziva David, has decided to leave NCIS after 8 seasons.  She will be in the first few episodes of Season 11.

According to E Online:

Cote de Pablo, who has played the role of special agent Ziva David since 2005, has decided not to renew her contract with NCIS that expired at the end of last season and will exit the series, CBS confirms to E! News.

"I've had eight great years with NCIS and Ziva David," Pablo says in a statement. "I have huge respect and affection for Mark, Gary, Michael, David, Rocky, Pauley, Brian, Sean, all of the team and CBS. I look forward to finishing Ziva's story."
