I'm a big Adele fan and even a bigger James Bond fan.
So today is sort of like my 'Holy Grail' day.

At 0:07 this morning, UK time, Adele premiered her latest song on her website. It's the theme from the upcoming Bond film, 'Skyfall.'

Skyfall will be the 23rd Bond film and the 3rd starring Daniel Craig.
I've got to give props to the marketing team, who gave this a lot of thought, because today also marks the 50th Anniversary of the first Bond film, 'Dr. No.'

There is already a buzz in the industry that Adele's song could be nominated for an Oscar. If that happens this would be the fourth Bond theme to do that.
Adele is backed by a 77-piece orchestra and has a chance to become only the second Bond theme to hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, following in the footsteps of Duran Duran's 'A View to a Kill' in 1985.

You will be hearing 'Skyfall' on Mix today during the hours of 8:00am, 12noon and 4:00pm (exact times will be posted on our Facebook page). We will also keep you updated on when it will be played over the weekend.

Here is where I am asking for your input. Because of my love for Adele and all things Bond I'm already biased. I've listened to the song ten times already since it was released. I want to know what you think of Adele's 'Skyfall.' Once you hear it on Mix today or over the weekend, I invite you to let me know if you 'Like it,' 'Love it' or 'Dislike it.' Just post your comments on our Facebook page.
