I thought I would share some of this week's new 'Mix Music' with you. You will start hearing the latest from Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, The Band Perry and, my new favorite song, from Hot Chelle Rae. Check out each of the videos and let me know what you think of these tunes.

  • Katy Perry - Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F)

Hot on the heels of 9 MTV Music Award nominations, here comes the next track from Katy Perry off her 'Teenage Dream' CD. Perry has become the 'pop princess' of radio with previous hits; California Gurls, Hot N' Cold and Firework. In this video check out cameos from 80's stars Corey Feldman and Debbie Gibson.

  • Hot Chelle Rae - Tonight Tonight

It's no surprise that Hot Chelle Rae is, well, hot. Band memebers Keith & Jamie Follese and Nash Overstreet are the children of A-List Nashville songwriters, while Ian Keaggy is the son of a Grammy Nominated guitarist. This is a band that you should keep on your 'watch list.'

  • Lady Gaga - Edge Of Glory

Lady Gaga is this generations Madonna, simple as that. With all her outrageous costumes and antics. Born Stefani Germanotta, this New York native got her stage name from Queen's 1984 hit, 'Radio Ga-Ga.' I found it interesting that Gaga's birthday (3/28) is one day before mine.

  • The Band Perry - If I Die Young

This family trio officially formed in 2005. But, when Kimberly Perry was just 15 years old, she was fronting a group and actually had her two brothers, Reed and Neil as her 'roadies.' The Band Perry were 'discovered' by Garth Brook's Manager, Bob Doyle. When Doyle heard their 'sound,' he immediately got them some studio time and the rest, as they say, is history.
