Nicholas David delivered an impressive version of ‘The Power of Love’ by Huey Lewis & the News on ‘The Voice’ tonight (Nov. 12). This Minnesota soul man has made it clear that he’s ready to break out of the club scene and become a star.

His self-proclaimed goal is this: to be a “soul singer with the ability to play any genre.” Throughout the show so far, he has proven that he can sing various styles of music with equal amounts of talent and passion. His performance tonight only served to solidify that fact.

Adam Levine began the string of judges’ remarks with the following comment: “You are so strange and beautiful. It’s so awesome … I just have fun every time I watch you sing.”

Blake Shelton picked up where he left off. “We feel like every time you get onstage, you’re doing something a different way ... almost like it’s the first time you've performed it that way. As a viewer, as a fan, we can’t wait to see what you do next.”

His coach, Cee Lo Green, wrapped things up by offering his own sincere opinion. “There’s no better success than a realization of self,” he praised. “You do what you do and you do it naturally; you do it from the heart … You are truly art imitating life.”

Does this unique contestant have staying power?  It’s up to you to decide, so be sure to cast your vote for your favorite performer!
