Party in the Garden with the High Plains Food Bank

The High Plains Food Bank helps provide food for those in need here in the Texas Panhandle.  It would shock you just how many people here in the Texas Panhandle are food insecure. 

Most of the these families have to make hard decisions.  Do they spend their money on gas to get to work or putting food on the table?  Do they pay for that life saving prescription or do they put food on the table?  Luckily the High Plains Food Bank is here in our community to help with the need.

The High Plains Food Bank operates on the donations from our kind and loving community through monetary donations or by food donations.

Each year the High Plains Food Bank plants a garden.  This garden is amazing and it helps provide fresh produce for those who receive help from the High Plains Food Bank and this Saturday they are celebrating with a harvest party.

Come out and have fun with the entire family.  They will have face painting, food, pumpkin painting, music and more.  Oh and harvesting the garden.  It will be fun!  It's a great way to learn about the garden and how the High Plains Food Bank benefits our community.
