My wife and I have been anxiously awaiting the release of Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes for a long time now! Ok, let's be honest. I have been anxiously awaiting the release of the movie, while my wife just wants to watch it so I will leave her alone about it.

Being kind of a dork for the most part, I love when a movie remake does justice to the originals. This was a great movie! While not a remake, but more of a prequel, it really was entertaining.

A pretty long movie, but I did not get up off the couch once. That's saying something as I'm quite fidgety. The story line was entertaining and really left me wanting to see the "evolution" of the apes as they took over. Maybe another movie?
