Shia LaBeouf + Alec Baldwin Are Still At Each Other’s Electronic Throats

The saga of the Broadway play on which Shia LaBeouf bailed continues, as Alec Baldwin, hurt that LaBeouf would share his private emails, fires back — and LaBeouf returns fire by making even more personal notes public.

It’s like our own little celebrity version of WikiLeaks.

When asked how he felt about Shia’s prior tweet that read, “the theatre belongs not to the great but to the brash,” Baldwin snarked, “I can tell you that, in all honesty, I don’t think he’s in a good position to be giving interpretations of what the theater is and what the theater isn’t.”

In response to Alec Baldwin basically telling Shia LaBeouf he wouldn’t know what theater was if it gave him a reach-around in an empty parking lot, LaBeouf countered in his usual way as of late: with screenshots of old emails.

The first is from Daniel Sullivan, the director of ‘Orphans’ (that was the play in which Baldwin and LaBeouf were to appear), and it basically tells Shia that Baldwin probably has yet to read the script and therefore isn’t as ready as the play’s young star.

The other screenshot is of an email chain between Baldwin, LaBeouf and Sullivan, in which Alec laments that he’s tired, Shia brags about his youth and virility and Sullivan confirms that he thinks everything is going just swimmingly.

If Shia keeps this up, he may not just have a lack of work — but also a very empty in-box.
