Special Valentine Parents Night Out at the Discovery Center

When it comes to being a family, sometimes mom and dad don't get a lot of alone time.  When it comes to Valentine's Day, that alone time is very important.  The Don Harrington Discovery Center knows this, and that's why they offer Parents Night Out.  This month it works out perfect because the parental units can drop the kids off and go out and celebrate a romantic Valentine's evening.

So how does the Parents Night Out work.  Well all you have to do is make a reservation for you children.  Then drop them off at the Discovery Center and go enjoy your evening.  Then pick them up.  While you and your sweetheart are enjoying your evening, you're kids are having a blast.

This Friday the kids will get to enjoy Candy Science. They will get to learn the science behind their favorite snacks.  They will get to do cool experiments, enjoy the exhibits and eat a yummy dinner from Sonic.

WHAT: Parents Night Out

WHERE: Discovery Center, 1200 Streit Dr.

WHEN: Friday, February 12th, 5:30-9:30p Extended hours to 10:30pm

COST: Members: $20 for first child, $15 for each additional.
Non-Members: $25 for first child, $20 for each additional.

As an option to celebrate Valentine's Day the Discovery Center is offering something special this Parents Night Out. You may extend your child's care for an extra hour (pick up at 10:30 pm), for an additional $5. Keep in mind this is only available for children in the 6-11 age group.

They will only accept so many kids, so you need to make reservations you can call 806-355-9547 or make your reservations online.
