I remember that magical day when my daughter sat up front in the car for the first time. She knew she was big when that day came. I went back and forth wondering if I was doing the right thing.
This has been a crazy week in the sports world. I mean we still have college basketball madness going on and that always has craziness. Things are also heating up in the baseball world. Both in the majors and minors as the season is getting so close.
We already found out earlier this month that Yellow City Comic Con is back. There was already some good news for our city. Events were coming back bigger and better.
There was an announcement back in February. It was one that we weren't looking forward. I mean we understood but it wasn't something that we liked. It's a Punjabi Affair was closing it's doors for a bit.

People in our area have a love hate relationship with Toot n Totum's. They either really love them or would rather push their car across town to get gas. I fall in the later category.
Do you remember back in the day? There would be two newspapers a day. Yes, two newspapers a day here in Amarillo. The Sunday paper used to be the highlight of the week. Oh, and I remember hunting down a paper on Thanksgiving so we didn't miss any of those Black Friday ads.
I know that one of the summer camp locations that my daughter always looked forward to attending each summer was at Amarillo College. We would get that camp book in the mail and we would look forward to picking out the fun activities.
