So we just said goodbye to Spring Break 2022 that only means one thing. The race is on to the end of the school year. In just a couple short months the kiddos need something else to do.
There are a few things that irk me about picking up food from a fast food place. I mean they are convenient, of course. Unless you want ice cream at McDonalds, am I right? They are pretty good about getting my order right.
Are you in need of a little luck of the Irish? I feel like we could all use a bit. We are finally getting everything back to normal. It took a few years. So now more than ever we need to celebrate.
Amarillo sure does seem to like our trends. When we open up a new restaurant it seems like we not only open one type, we open a couple of the same. I am not sure why. It just seems weird.
There are several times of the year that we think we have to get out of town. We are winding down Spring Break and if you got out of town good for you. Summer vacations will be here before you know it. Oh and don't forget the holidays as well.
Severe weather season is a busy time for storm chasers, or spotters here in the Texas Panhandle. We have some very active storms. In fact in an area that we can see all the different seasons in one day how can we not be a little excited about it?
The good news is that the City of Amarillo was able to avoid having their information compromised over the weekend. The bad guys tried to get into their systems and get information or whatever bad people want to get.
We have been watching it for awhile. The price of gas is steadily going up. I filled up my daughter's vehicle the other day at $3.49 a gallon. I watched the final price as it climbed up to $51.
We do have some great schools here in our area. We have many great school districts to choose from too. If you are looking to move your kiddos from one district another now is the time to make decisions about the next school year.
