back to school 2015

So we finally made it, we made it to back to school. Our kids are starting the 2015-2016 school year.  It seems that the kick off to the school year has been great. Some kids were excited, some didn't want the summer to end, and some wanted both, but alas it was time to get back into the school routine.   So with the start of school it is time to see those really awesome back to school pictures. The school supplies are bought, the outfits are planned, and the teachers have been met.  Back to school is on Monday, so get ready with these great songs that will put you in the mood for back to school.

We are in back to school season.  I know the kids don't want the summer to end.  So as we are getting ready to head back to school we wanted to share some tips with you about school zone safety.  A yearly reminder never hurts.  Tracy Tellman with the Texas Department of Transportation dropped by the studios the other day to share some tips with us.

It is back, the Texas Sales Tax Free Weekend.  The Weekend where you can purchase your school supplies, clothes and backpacks and not have to worry about sales tax.  When you think about it, that is saving you a ton of money.  So mark your calendars and get ready to shop.  The Texas Sales Tax Free Weekend is August 7-9.
