This week for our Pet of the Week, Debra brought us the cutest cat.  Tasha is up for adoption at the Amarillo SPCA.  The whole time she was here she sat near me and purred.  Such a sweetheart that needs a great home.

The Amarillo Animal Management & Welfare (AAM&W) had an owner surrender 31 cats to their facility on Tuesday.  The AAM&W is looking for forever homes for some of these animals.

Today is National Cat Day!  A day to celebrate our feline friends.   Let's face it cats are cats.  They just don't care.  If they want to cuddle they want to cuddle, if they don't they don't and they stay as far away from you as possible.  I have a cat, his name is Astro.  Well he's actually Ethan's cat, but he is a character.

I have to say I love cats.  I have a cat and he's a good cat.  He's moody of course and when he wants to lay on my laptop while I'm trying to work, I better let him otherwise I will meet his claws.  He's stubborn but he's fun.  Cat videos have always been the craze since YouTube first came onto the scene and this cat video is great in itself.
