Every year since 2001 Mix 94.1 has brought the family and miracle kids of the Children's Miracle Network to the airwaves.  The Children's Miracle Network Celebration Radiothon is 2 days where we can raise money for this wonderful organization.  So what is Children's Miracle Network?

  This time of year for us is an amazing time of year.  This is the time we get to meet amazing families.  Families who find that they are facing medical obstacles.  Families whose children are sick.  These families are the strongest you will ever meet and the kids are the sweetest.  We are gearing up for the Children's Miracle Network Celebration Radiothon on Thursday and Friday, May 8th and 9th.

Each year White Cloud has a contest amongst artwork created by kids who have been helped by Children's Miracle Network.  This year 9-year old Madilynn Nichols, who was a patient at Amarillo's NWTHS, was chosen to be a part of this contest.  Her art was chosen by White Cloud from hundreds of submissions from CMN affiliates across the United States as one of the fourteen finalists.  The top three wi

Our very own Jodi Carson of Murphy Sam and Jodi received the highest honor a radio personality can receive from the Children's Miracle Network.  On Thursday, October 10th, Jodi was named The National Radio Personality of the Year by the National Office of the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.

Want a great way to help out a wonderful cause like the Children's Miracle Network?  Each year the TRI To Make a Difference Sprint Triathalon happens in Lake Tanglewood.  It is a huge fundraiser to CMN.  This year they are selling raffle tickets to win some big prizes.

One of the many wonderful things that CMN has purchased is a Surgery Doll.  The surgery Doll is named Izzy.  This doll is used to teach and show small children procedures that will be happening on their little bodies.

Every year we set up camp at BSA for our Children's Miracle Network Celebration. It's two days that we devote to helping those Miracle Kiddos here in the Panhandle. Over the years we have met many families and heard many stories. Some inspiring, some heartbreaking and some that are ongoing. Three or so years ago, I met one of those kiddos that has become one of my best buddies.

We are in the middle of the best two days of the year, the Children's Miracle Network Celebration.  The money raised for CMN in these next few days will stay local to help local kids.  Donations go to help our kids and here is something amazing that donations to CMN created.
