This holiday season, I will be sending a package or two through the mail and it's good to know when those packages have to be in the mail to make it under someone else's tree in time. Here's a great reminder on those US Post Office shipping details.

A few years ago a couple of families got together and opened up a Christmas light tour just outside of Amarillo. Over 400,000 lights (maybe more) to over this piece of land and created a Christmas Wonderland.

Once or twice in a lifetime you have to have a real tree in your home for Christmas.  There's something magical about having that amazing tree standing in your home, holding all your precious ornaments.  The perfect place to get that tree is Troop 80 Treeland.

It's that time of year and Santa is a busy man getting ready for Christmas. Santa and the elves are busy making those toys and getting them ready for delivery. You have seen the tree all your life, that Christmas tree set up in Westgate Mall covered in small paper angels. It may look just like a tree covered in angels, but each angel on that tree represents a child in Amarillo who would like to have an amazing Christmas. A child who would otherwise go without on Christmas morning.

I am a part of their Balance Rewards program. I shop at Walgreen's A LOT! I feel now that it may not be as frequent. I collect my points and save them.

Having breakfast with Santa is a BIG deal.  It's the big guy, the jolly guy, the guy who controls the toys at Christmas.  He's the guy with the naughty or nice list and here's the perfect opportunity for your kids to schmooze the big guy.  In fact here's several opportunities.  Here's where you can have Breakfast with Santa in Amarillo.

One of the best parts of the holiday season in Amarillo is Center City's Electric Light Parade. A parade that lights up downtown Amarillo. Thousands of people descend on downtown to revel in the craftiness of each float.

Join us along with the Salvation Army in celebrating Christmas and making Christmas great for those in Amarillo.

I am one of those get your Christmas shopping done early type people. I usually start the last week of October and I'm done by the end of November. Which nothing has changed. I'm moving right along with those gift purchases, however this morning I realized something that made me very sad.
