Disney revamped The Lion King and put it in 3D and re-released the movie into theaters for two weeks. However, in those 18 days it made nearly 79 million dollars. So with that said, are they doing this to appeal to an entirely new audience or are they doing it for money. It is a fine line, but I'm guessing it is a money maker for them, and in this world money is everything.
One of my favorite Disney/Pixar movies is Monsters Inc. In fact it is my favorite Disney/Pixar movie, "Kitty". That is why I am so excited that Mike, Sully, and Boo will all be back ( or at least I hope they are all back, but I don't think that is the case).
I love animation. It doesn't matter if it is Disney, Pixar, Dreamworks, etc. I love watching those great animated movies. I watched them as a kid, teenager, adult and now I get to share great animation works with my son
