According to an article in this month's Vanity Fair, eccentric superstars Elizabeth Taylor and Marlon Brando were in New York to see a concert performance by their good friend Michael Jackson when the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11 occurred. Fearing more terrorism, Jackson moved his entire entourage, which included Taylor and Brando, to New Jersey the day after the World Trade Center towers fell. A

Legendary actress Elizabeth Taylor passed away this morning in Los Angeles surrounded by family and friends.  She was 79 years old.  Elizabeth Taylor was a two-time Academy Award winner, best known for her roles in Cleopatra, National Velvet, A Place In the Sun, and Cat On A Hot Tin Roof.
