Halloween 2015

So as we embark on Halloween things will start to get scary.  Let's face it we are all scared by something, however, what scares one, might not scare another.  With that said here are a few things that scare a lot of people.

We love Halloween for every ounce of chocolaty, cavity-forming, nougat-covered goodness, yet there is always some level of disappointment when we find ourselves confronted with candy we despise.

I have always been fond of pumpkin seeds.   I hate cleaning pumpkins out.  YUCK!  It's gross.  The slimy innards are just disgusting.  However, to get to the gold you have to dig through the muck.  Each year I make roasted pumpkin seeds.  I don't get fancy, but they just don't turn out the way I want them to until this year.

We love Halloween and love the fact that there are so many fun activities around this holiday.  Fall festivals, trick or treating, haunted houses, pumpkin farms, mazes and so much more.  The Halloween season is fun, and so is the Don Harrington Discovery Center.  Now you can put both together and have some fun.
