Insidious, the 2010 horror movie from director James Wan, made almost $100 million and has spawned a trilogy of films. But, the original was shot with a budget of just $1.5 million and produced in just three weeks! That’s just one of the facts packed into the latest episode of You Think You Know Movies, which takes a trip into The Further with Insidious!

Lele courageously signed up for the Insidious: Chapter 3 haunted house challenge, and filmed herself as she spent the night at the notoriously spooky Bedforde Inn in Brooklyn, New York.

Focus Features announced today that the latest installment of the 'Insidious' franchise, 'Insidious 3,' has officially commenced with production. However, while cast members Lin Shaye, Angus Sampson and Mr. Whannell are reprising their roles from the previous films, this next chapter is not a continuation -- it's a prequel!

The new studio model for sequels is to call your release date before you have a cast or crew, and often before you have a script. The latest film to get dated ahead of anything else substantial is 'Insidious 3,' which production company FilmDistrict previously announced would be happening after 'Insidious Chapter 2' opened to $41 million.
