September 13, 2011 Every time I hear that Hollywood is doing a remake, I again hit my head against the wall, why, why, why would they want to do this, why ruin a great movie. I understand that remakes are going to happen. I realize that they want to bring a great story to a new generation, but why, this why now. Hollywood is wanting to remake Point Break.
August 29, 2011 Romancing the Stone is one of my favorite movies. I love that movie, it has adventure, action, romance and crocodiles all in one movie. I owned it on VHS and I think I wore the poor tape out. The movie was originally released in 1984 starring Michael Douglas, Kathleen Turner and Danny DeVito. It also spawned several movies with this trio. Now rumors are floating around that Hollywood is wanting to remake this movie. UGH!

The idea of turning classic board game Battleship into a feature-length movie still doesn’t make much sense, but we’ll admit that we’re a little less skeptical after watching the first official trailer for the movie, released Wednesday by Yahoo!
Though some of the footage underwhelms (why does it always have to be about aliens? and why did they make Taylor Kitsch shave his hair off?!), the film still looks like it will be a visual showcase, with epic effects and battle sequences — not to mention cutesy yellow missiles that look like the iconic peg pieces from the Hasbro game. June 28, 2011 I'll admit I jumped on the Twilight bandwagon. I have read all the books at least 3 times, and I have seen all the movies multiple times. I cannot wait until Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn hits theaters in November. However, Stephenie Meyers, the author of the Twilight Saga, wrote another book called The Host and it will make it's way to the big screen in 2013.
‘Cars 2,’ the newest blockbuster from Pixar, premiered over the weekend and with it, a teaser trailer for the animation studio’s next flick, ‘Brave.’ The film, set in the Scotland Highlands, follows the story of Merida, “a skilled archer and impetuous daughter of King Fergus and Queen Elinor” who makes a regrettable wish. ‘Brave’ boasts a killer international cast of voices, including Kelly Macdonald, Emma Thompson and Billy Connolly.

May 11, 2011 I love a good scary/horror movie. I like to be scared, however, some don't scare you at all and others scare you to where you don't want to sleep by yourself. For me, The Strangers was that kind of scary movie, I still get goose bumps when I think about it. Back in 1974 one particular movie did that to most people. The original Texas Chainsaw Massacre was released in theaters. Many remakes and redos of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre have hit the big screen over the years. Some were scary and some just down right ridiculous.
Oscar-winning actor Al Pacino will return to his on-screen mob roots in the much-talked about 'Gotti: Three Generations,' a biopic about infamous mobster John Gotti.
According to EW.com, Pacino will play Aniello John 'Mr. Neil' Dellacroce, consigliere to Carlo Gambino. He'll join the previously cast John Travolta, Kelly Preston and troublemaker Lindsay Lohan, who have signed on to play John, Victoria and Kim Gotti, respectively.
