Universal’s monster movie reboots are gaining traction, and with The Mummy set to relaunch the franchise next year, the studio has its eye on the next set of films in the classic monster cinematic universe. One of these is Bride of Frankenstein, which doesn’t currently have a release date, but does have a script penned by Jurassic Park screenwriter David Koepp. According to him, his version of the tale is all about female liberation.

That’s 3.7 million views per hour. Now, it looks like the trailer for Fifty Shades Darker has not only beaten, but curbstomped that record, weighing in at 114 million views in one day.
Not long ago, Walt Disney Animation Studios was all but left for dead. Disney subsidiary Pixar was the animated world’s critical darling, and its frequent box office champ. As 2D animation began to lose favor with audiences, so did a lot of Disney proper’s offerings. But the last few years have seen the Mouse House rebound in a major way, with some of the biggest animated hits in the company’s history, including Frozen, Big Hero 6, and Zootopia, which made a whopping $1 billion worldwide earlier this year.
