There is nothing like sitting out in the gorgeous night sky enjoying a movie.  The time is once again approaching, Tascosa Drive In is gearing up to up for the season.

Let's face it curling up on the couch or in the bed with your sweetheart and having a movie night is fun.  Well how about doing that for Valentine's Day.  Make some sweet treat or even salty treats, get a cute Valentine's Day blanket and curl up and watch some great romantic movies...

Dirty Dancing returns to theaters for two nights only. It's the 30th Anniversary of this amazing movie that made us fall in love with dancing, and Patrick Swayze. We have your chance to see this classic once again on the big screen.

Universal’s monster movie reboots are gaining traction, and with The Mummy set to relaunch the franchise next year, the studio has its eye on the next set of films in the classic monster cinematic universe. One of these is Bride of Frankenstein, which doesn’t currently have a release date, but does have a script penned by Jurassic Park screenwriter David Koepp. According to him, his version of the tale is all about female liberation.

The Shining returns to theaters for two nights only.  It's a chance to see this classic live on the Big Screen and be scared all over again.

You know how your scroll through Netflix trying to find the perfect thing to watch.  You might be trying to find the perfect movie when all of a sudden you come across something amazing.  That's what happened the other night.  We were bored and looking for a movie we both haven't seen and we came across it, a documentery on the Nightmare on Elm Street movies...

We hope you’re proud of yourselves. Last April, the second Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer garnered 88 million views in 24 hours, breaking the record previously set by Furious 7. That’s 3.7 million views per hour. Now, it looks like the trailer for Fifty Shades Darker has not only beaten, but curbstomped that record, weighing in at 114 million views in one day.

Not long ago, Walt Disney Animation Studios was all but left for dead. Disney subsidiary Pixar was the animated world’s critical darling, and its frequent box office champ. As 2D animation began to lose favor with audiences, so did a lot of Disney proper’s offerings. But the last few years have seen the Mouse House rebound in a major way, with some of the biggest animated hits in the company’s history, including Frozen, Big Hero 6, and Zootopia, which made a whopping $1 billion worldwide earlier this year.

Thanks to modern journalism, we already know quite a bit about Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, including character names and background info, new aliens and villains, and even new spaceships we’ll see in the upcoming spinoff. The only thing that hasn’t been extensively covered as of yet is the film’s mysterious title, which is no longer a mystery thanks to director Gareth Edwards.

I have a dream job. What could be better than watching and talking about movies for a living? Nothing; the answer is nothing. But lately my job has been a lot less fun than normal, because the movies themselves have been a lot less fun. Quite frankly, this summer sucks.
