Tim Burton Releases the Frankenweenie Trailer

Back in the day when Tim Burton worked at Disney (yes, he actually worked at Disney), he created a short film called Frankenweenie in 1984. That was the film that caused Disney to fire him because they thought he wasted money on a film that was not appropriate for children. Fast forward 18 years later and Tim Burton and Disney have released a trailer for a the full featured animated film Frankenweenie.

I cannot go one day with out some form of Spongebob in my life. When Ethan gets up in the morning part of his morning routine involves Spongebob. He watches Spongebob when he gets dressed and by letting him watch it he gets dressed. We have Spongebob sheets, pillows, dolls, DVDs, and even a nightlight. I have seen the Spongebob Squarepants Movie a gazillion times. So for those parents who are inundated with Spongebob on a daily basis here is the 411 on the new Spongebob Movie coming to theaters in 2014.

Rock of Ages is a Broadway musical set on the infamous Sunset Strip in 1987. The Broadway musical was made into a movie with Tom Cruise starring as Stacee Jaxx. The movie also stars Alec Baldwin, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Julianne Hough, Russell Brand and the cast goes on. Here is the first look at the new trailer for the movie.

I'll admit I am a weenie when it comes to movies like the Paranormal Activity Franchise. Most horror movies don't scare me, but this franchise freaks me out. I watched the first two movies in the comfort of my own home because I dont' think I could have handled a theater full of people screaming. With that said the trailer for the 3rd installment of Paranormal Activity 3 has been released and it looks like they leave nothing to the imagination.

One of my favorite movies from the 80's is Beetlejuice. Michael Keaton was awesome playing this crazy dead character that caused all sorts of trouble in the world of the dead. Of course, who could forget the crazy dance he caused at the dining table to Day O (the Banana Boat Song), or trying to take Winona Ryder as a bride. Plus, I think this movie was the skinniest Alec Baldwin had ever been. Rumor has it that after 23 years, we may finally see a sequel to the 1988 hit.

The idea of turning classic board game Battleship into a feature-length movie still doesn’t make much sense, but we’ll admit that we’re a little less skeptical after watching the first official trailer for the movie, released Wednesday by Yahoo!

Though some of the footage underwhelms (why does it always have to be about aliens? and why did they make Taylor Kitsch shave his hair off?!), the film still looks like it will be a visual showcase, with epic effects and battle sequences — not to mention cutesy yellow missiles that look like the iconic peg pieces from the Hasbro game. (Aw!)
