January 16, 2012 Paula Deen has Type 2 diabetes is the rumor floating around about the popular Food Network Chef. Paula Deen is best know for her fried, buttered and genuinely unhealthy recipes. She is a Southern Cook and most recipes from the South are fried, dipped, creamed, buttered and who else knows what, but it is good food. I grew up with a grandmother who was a southern cook, something at every meal was fried or covered in butter. No one ever claimed that Paula Deen's recipes were healthy. However, this new rumor may not come as a shock to some.
