pet of the week

We love our pets and we love the Amarillo SPCA.  We love the gorgeous animals they bring us this week.  This week, we have a fun, active, wonderful puppy that needs a good home.  Karma is a chihuahua who may be part miniature pincher.  She's fairly new to this world and needs a family to grow up and grow old with and he can be adopted at the Amarillo SPCA.

Oh my goodness, when Debra walked into the door of the station this week with Chilly Willy, my heart melted.  If I didn't already have 3 animals, I would not have let her leave with this cute guy.  If you are looking for a lovable, unique dog that will complete your family, then Chilly Willy is your man.  He is just awesome!

OK so the dog isn't on actual stilts, but Slim is such a beauty.  He is a unique dog and he's a bit shy, but he needs a great home.  Now he might not be perfect for small children because of his lankiness, but he would make someone the perfect pet.  It's possible that Slim is part greyhound, but they are thinking he is definitely part chihuahua. Munchkin, this name fits this cute, cuddly, chihuahua.  He's full grown and needs a great home.  Munchkin would be perfect for someone in an apartment or a family with older kids.  He needs all the love and interaction he can get.  He loves being petted and is ready to play.  So if you can adopt him from the Amarillo SPCA today.

Thunder is an older dog who was brought to the Amarillo SPCA after his owner passed away.  Thunder has a buddy named Cowboy and if they can go to the same home that would be great.  Thunder looks to be a Dachshund/Korgi mix.  He is a cuddle bug and very friendly.  Cowboy isn't featured in the video with Thunder but you can meet him and Thunder at the Amarillo SPCA.

Kenya is a sweet girl.  She's a chihuahua mix and needs a stable forever home.  This poor baby has been bounced to over three homes in her life and just needs a forever family to love her.  She is sweet, playful, and loves to cuddle.  You can adopt her today from the Amarillo SPCA.

This week the Amarillo SPCA brought us Shaggy.  Shaggy is such a sweet girl.  I kept calling her a Benji dog.  She's a medium size terrier mix and is in need of a good home.  When she was surrendered at the Amarillo SPCA she was so scared and wouldn't let many near her, now she longs for cuddles and a forever home.  If you can be that home then contact the Amarillo SPCA today to adopt Shaggy. This is Reggie.  Reggie is a terrier mix and is about a year old and is in need of a forever home.  Apparently Reggie's former owners thought it would be cool to give him a blue Mohawk.  It does seem to fit his personality, but the blue will eventually grow out.  You can adopt Reggie now through the Amarillo SPCA.

This week we want to introduce you to Olivia.  Olivia is the cutest little girl who gets super excited to meet new people.  She needs a forever home.

I would like to introduce you to Rudy, this week's pet of the week.  Rudy is a Yorkie/Dachshund mix.  His owners could no longer take care of him due to personal medical issues and surrendered him to the Amarillo SPCA.  Rudy is almost two years old and he needs your love and a new wonderful home.

This week's Pet of the Week is Pepper.  This dog is the sweetest little thing.  Pepper is about a year old and is just all about the cuddles.  When she perks up those ears, your heart will melt.  Pepper needs a loving family to cuddle and play with forever.   Hurry get to the Amarillo SPCA and adopt Pepper today.

Edgar is such a sweet puppy.  He's less than a year old and he needs a good home.  However, the thing that will make you fall in love with Edgar other than his sweetness, kisses and cuddles, is his eyes.  He has the most unique eyes and that gives him his personality.
