Vacation Bible School or as the cool kids call it, VBS is a fun event the kids can enjoy while learning about God. When summer rolls around so does VBS. Not only is it fun but there is more than one in town so your kids can have more than one week of VBS. Plus VBS is free. Most of the churches in town offer VBS one week out of the summer. In stunning news, Pope Benedict XVI announced Monday morning from the Vatican that he will resign his position as head of the Catholic Church, effective on February 28. This has already set off a flurry of speculation, largely because no pope has voluntarily done so since the year 1415.

I remember as a little girl being dragged to our local high school gym for something my brother has been talking about for weeks. Personally I had no interest in seeing a bunch of muscle men show off their muscles. However, once I was in the bleachers of that gym and saw the amazing strength of these men and their awesome faith, I was a fan from that day on. Now, I get to share that same amazement with my son. Team Impact is coming to Amarillo this weekend.

When Director Darren Aronofsky released the first construction image of Noah's ark from the set of 'Noah' during San Diego Comic-Con week, we all just about wet ourselves with excitement. Since then, everyone's been glued to his Twitter account as he demonstrated time and time again that he likes to keep fans updated on the project with new set images and tweet updates.

Now the latest image to come from behind the scenes of 'Noah' gives us the first look inside the famous ark, but the semi-funny thing is that it didn't come from Aronofsky but rather Cinematographer Matthew Libatique.

It was Season 7 of American Idol that introduced us to David Archuleta. Then the battle went on and came down to David and David in the finals of American Idol that season. David Cook took home the prize and David Archuleta came in second. Although he has been keeping up with his music, he made a huge announcement at his concert in Salt Lake City, Utah on Monday night. He announced that he is becoming a Missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

National Geographic Debuts a New Show 'Pint-Sized Preachers'

The National Geographic Channel introduces a new show to it's airwaves tomorrow evening at 8pm central. It is called Pint-Sized Preachers and as you might have guessed it is little kids preaching. Some of these little kids are in preschool. Yes it is cute, but I'm not sure about this one.

A Vacation Bible School for Atheists, or at Least Their Version

I totally believe in freedom of religion and that people have the right to choose who they worship or who they do not worship. I for one believe in God, Jesus and the Holy Ghost. I try my best to walk in that path on a daily basis. I do my best to keep my son on that path as well and part of that is Vacation Bible School-VBS, every summer.
