Be Aware! Amarillo Police Are Warning Locals Of New Phone Scam Targeting Credit Union Account Holders

The Amarillo Police Department are warning folks in Amarillo about a current phone scam that is going on.

Police are reporting that this afternoon 20 people have been contacted by phone or text from a phone number with an 806 area code, claiming that their Mastercard has been compromised.

Scammers Target Local Businesses Using Local Media and Race for the Cure

It has been brought to our attention that our name is being used attached to a scam.  We were made aware of this  scam this morning by a business.   A man claiming to be with Mix 94.1 has been soliciting sponsorships for the Race for the Cure.  I will be the first to tell you that we do not have anyone soliciting sponsorships from Mix 94.1 for Race for the Cure.
