When I heard Christina Aguilera was going to be performing the National Anthem at the Superbowl, I was kinda excited. She has the right kind of voice to belt out a memorable national anthem. Unfortunately, her performance at Super Bowl XLV will be remembered for the wrong reason.

I know that being in front of that many people can be nerve-racking, however Christina Aguilera is in front of crowds like the Superbowl on a regular basis. So you think she would be used to it but I guess not, Aguilera flubbed the anthem, forgetting the lyric "o’er the ramparts we watched."

Aguilera is far from the first person to botch the Star Spangled Banner. Check out last night's flub and seven other singers who made a mess of the anthem on much smaller stages.
